Reading should be encouraged, not forced or used for punishment. Youth are more willing to read when they are given the option to choose their own literature. To see reading happening daily in their environment is also one of the biggest motivators for reading. Our book clubs were created for accessibility and relationship building. Don't forget - to make reading fun! We are hopeful to fulfill our mission to support & improve literacy in our homes & in the community and to foster a love of reading, by offering free or low cost clubs for youth and adults.
FREE BOOK CLUB Youth (birth - 14) can earn 1 free book every month with a completed reading log. Out of state readers can also participate in a book raffle with a completed reading log.
Reading reports can be from a book, newspaper article or magazine.
