What challenges did you face while writing A Double Play Summer?

RICHARDSON: I had every intention to complete and publish this book in July, but life happened. I am the recipient of cornea transplants in both eyes and was dealing with rejection issues with both at the same time. It didn't stop me, just slowed progress.

What do you like to do when you're not writing?

RICHARDSON: When I'm not writing I enjoy cooking and eating, enjoying my patio, and enjoying nature.

Who is your favorite author and why?

RICHARDSON: I have a lot of favorite authors in different genres. A couple of my long time favorites are Zora Neale Hurston, J. California Cooper, Erick Jerome Dickey, and Resonda Tate Billingsley. Honestly, my favorite author is whoever I'm currently reading.

Are you currently working on anything that you would like to share with our readers? If not, do you plan to write and publish more books?

RICHARDSON: Yes, I'm currently working on a novel centered around a girl who is burdened by a chronic disease, had given up on life.

Lastly, where can our audience purchase A Double Play Summer?
